Starlink Installation in Napa, CA

A carefully mounted dish, neat cable routing and a connection planned around the way you use the property.

A clear sky view, then a connection that reaches the property

A dish at a Napa hillside home and one serving a tasting room need different plans. We assess the sky view with the Starlink app, agree on the mounting location and cable entry, then check where the router and network equipment should live. For an estate with separate buildings, extending the network is a separate design decision—not a reason to stretch the dish cable beyond its supported length.

We use the Starlink app to assess obstructions, select mounting and cabling compatible with the kit, and keep within supported cable lengths. Building-to-building networking is scoped separately.

Starlink for your Napa home

Start with the rooms where you work, stream and take calls. Thick walls, a remote equipment closet or a detached guesthouse can leave weak Wi-Fi even when the satellite connection is healthy. We can coordinate wired connections and additional access points where the property needs them.

Business connectivity in Napa

For a Napa tasting room or production property, tell us which systems matter during an outage: payment terminals, phones, staff connectivity or remote camera access. We can assess Starlink as a primary connection or an additional internet path. Automatic failover requires a compatible router and configuration; it is not included simply by plugging in the dish.

I used Eric and his son years ago and they were superb at fixing my complicated and varied set-up. Two weeks ago, Devin did the same with our new issues. Like Eric, Devin was thorough, highly competent, generous with his time, patience and kindness. He followed thru to check on all services he had provided. He responded to all requests very quickly, even in off-hours. I recommend this team enthusiastically!

Frequently asked questions

What is Starlink, and how is it different from other internet options?

Starlink is a satellite internet service that can be useful where suitable wired internet is unavailable, slow or unreliable. We assess the installation and local network separately: a clear sky view supports the satellite link, while router placement and Wi-Fi coverage affect the experience inside your property.

Read our Starlink plans and installation guide

Do I need to purchase the Starlink kit on my own?

You arrange the Starlink kit and subscription separately. Check Starlink’s current equipment options and address-specific offers before ordering, then tell us which kit you have so we can plan compatible mounting and cabling. Our installation quote covers the agreed work and parts, not the satellite internet subscription.

Do you offer support after the installation?

Yes, we offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system upgrades as needed. Call or text our office for support. (707) 858-5580

Where does the Starlink dish need to be installed?

The dish needs a clear view of the sky, with minimal obstructions like trees or buildings. We assess your property to find the best mounting location—roof, pole, or wall-mounted if needed.

Will you mount the dish on my roof or pole if necessary?

Yes! We offer custom mounting options, including non-penetrating roof mounts, tripods, or poles, depending on what’s best for your site.

Can you help me with cable routing and clean installation?

Absolutely. We provide professional-grade cable routing to ensure a clean, weather-protected, and secure setup.

How long does it usually take to install Starlink?

Typically, a Starlink installation takes 2–4 hours, depending on roof access, mounting needs, and cable routing.

What does the installation price cover?

Clear’s professional Starlink installation starts at $1,100 + parts + tax. The quote defines mounting, cable routing, access requirements and any additional networking. The Starlink kit and internet subscription are separate. For a straightforward setup, check whether Starlink offers an eligible basic installation option at your address. If the property needs a different approach, text us with the address and a few photos to discuss the scope.

Will Starlink work during storms or bad weather?

Starlink is designed for outdoor use, but heavy weather, obstructions and service outages can affect connectivity. We plan secure mounting and protected cable entry for the site. If continuity is important, we can assess backup power and a second internet connection with compatible failover equipment.

What internet speeds can I expect with Starlink?

Starlink currently offers Residential 100 Mbps, Residential 200 Mbps and Residential Max options, subject to availability at your address. The 100 and 200 Mbps plans have download-speed limits; Max offers the maximum available Residential speeds rather than a guaranteed speed. Performance depends on the plan, obstructions, network conditions and other factors. We help you consider everyday use, the number of devices and Wi-Fi coverage; business requirements may call for a different service plan.

Can you set up my Wi-Fi and mesh system too?

Yes! We can configure your Starlink router, add mesh nodes, or even install a more advanced Wi-Fi system for larger homes or businesses.
