Eric founded Clear Telecommunications in 2003 with a guiding principle: connections with clear results. For more than two decades, that has meant bringing new technology to Sonoma County businesses while keeping client results and personal, local service at the center of the work.
In 2024, Devin partnered with Eric, bringing his technology background to help Clear grow and deliver even better results for its clients. Together, they are building on the company's local foundation while helping customers navigate evolving networking, security and connectivity needs.
Today, our Santa Rosa headquarters and San Rafael office support projects across Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties. We bring a local service mindset to everything from a home camera installation to a network upgrade spanning a community property.

Our team combines decades of experience with a specialty in network architecture, Ubiquiti UniFi and Cisco Meraki. We look at how the whole system works together: the internet connection, cabling, switches, wireless coverage, cameras and the people using them.

Our dedication is to premium customer service, high-quality components and careful installation. We begin by listening: what needs to work better, how the property is used and what a successful result looks like to you.
From there, we assess the existing equipment and infrastructure, discuss the options and plan the work around the property. Cable routes and equipment placement matter to us, both for performance and for the appearance of the finished installation.
We explain the system and how to use it. When a project is best approached in phases, we can plan those steps together, keeping the broader design in mind as needs and priorities evolve.
Local Support Beyond Installation
Our relationship with clients does not have to end when equipment is installed. We offer ongoing network monitoring, remote troubleshooting, maintenance plans and onsite support to help address problems and keep your technology working for you.

See Our Approach in Practice
For a five-story Marin County residential community with more than 200 units, we assessed aging network infrastructure and designed an upgrade serving shared amenities and residential areas. The work included hardwired wireless access points, upgraded switching and concealed cabling, improving both the network's performance and the appearance of the installation.
