Meraki Upgrades Built Around Your Property

We design and install Cisco Meraki switching, firewall and commercial Wi-Fi upgrades for offices, wineries, hospitality properties and multi-building sites. That can include replacing aging switches, improving wired backhaul, reviewing firewall capacity and upgrading access points where the assessment identifies a need.

For an existing Meraki network, we review the dashboard, equipment condition and configuration to identify what can stay and what needs attention. For a migration, we plan equipment compatibility, licensing, cable pathways and the changeover with your team. A full replacement is not automatically the right answer.

Community Wi-Fi and larger properties need architecture that considers shared amenities, indoor and outdoor coverage, building connections and the devices people actually use. We coordinate the wired and wireless work as one project, with phases where appropriate.

In both of these projects, switch upgrades were part of stabilizing the core wired network before improving wireless performance. The properties and symptoms were different; the need for a dependable foundation was the same.

Community Wi-Fi Upgrade in Marin County

A five-story community with more than 200 residential units needed better connectivity across its main-floor lobby, offices, salon, meeting spaces, restaurant and nearby residences. Aging wireless mesh connections and visible wiring were part of the problem.

We assessed the WAN, wired LAN and Wi-Fi, upgraded core switches and gave every access point a dedicated wired connection. The wireless upgrade followed that stronger foundation, with concealed cabling and power to keep shared spaces looking clean.

Winery Meraki Network Upgrade in Sonoma County

A winery with an existing Cisco Meraki network was experiencing unreliable handheld POS connections, dropped calls and inconsistent guest Wi-Fi. Its infrastructure had grown into a mix of managed Meraki equipment, unmanaged switches and older hardware.

We addressed faulty connections and upgraded switching to stabilize and simplify the wired network first. The project also included a firewall upgrade, consistent VLAN configuration and replacement of aging access points, followed by wireless coverage, roaming and performance checks.

Can we improve Wi-Fi without replacing the entire network?

Often, a targeted upgrade is worth evaluating first. We assess the switches, cabling, firewall, access points and configuration to separate reusable equipment from actual constraints. The recommendation depends on the condition, compatibility and requirements of your network.

Why upgrade switches before access points?

Access points depend on the wired network behind them. If switching, uplinks or cabling are unreliable, newer wireless equipment alone will not address those faults. We stabilize those connections first, then assess wireless coverage, capacity and roaming.

Do you work on community and multi-building Wi-Fi projects?

Yes. We assess wired infrastructure, building connections and wireless coverage for community properties and multi-building sites. The plan considers shared spaces, staff operations, residents or guests, installation appearance and future expansion.
